Kunjip Tofu House is a traditional Korean restaurant specializing in tofu soup and other famous Korean dishes.
Summary of Job
Kunjip Tofu House is looking for a corporate chef who will serve as the corporate lead for culinary operations with responsibility for managing, implementing and supporting all food related works across all product lines. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies in the food service department that result in improvements in the consistent execution of the food program, lower operating costs and enhanced operating efficiencies.
Responsibilities
The Corporate Chef’s main responsibilities include, but not limited to,
• Creating new menus, evaluating existing menus for the company that meet expectations with regard to budgeted food cost, quality standards, operational feasibility and resident satisfaction.
• Creating, modifying and testing all recipes and load them into the company’s menu platform.
• Examining the freshness of ingredients, conducting food tastings and evaluating food presentation for all branches.
• Coordinating with General Manager on the development and implementation of appealing, nutritionally adequate menus based on guidelines in the company dining manual, within budgetary constraints, incorporating formulary specified products and regional preferences to the extent possible.
• Assisting General Manager in the planning and preparing of special meals for special branches or events.
• Working with General Manager to develop applicable training programs for both front-of-the-house and back-of-the-house’s staff.
• Assisting in applying appropriate safety procedures.
• Assisting in regard to kitchen cleanliness, safe food handling, preparation and storage, to maintain adherence to state and local health department code requirements.
Job Requirements
• A minimum of five (5) years of culinary management experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate, lead and interact with all levels within the organization.
• Bi-Lingual (Korean / English) preferred
• Anyone sincere and honest is welcomed
• Needs to be able to file tax return

• General Manager와 함께 식제료 cost 관리.
• General Manager와 협력하여 지점별 특별메뉴 개발 및 관리.
• 전 지점 식자제 구매 관리.
• 전 지점 주방 위생 및 안전 관리
▣ 자격 요건
• 최소 5년이상 식당 주방 관리업무 필요
• 회사내 직원과의 원활한 의사소통 능력 필요
• 이중언어 (Korean / English) 선호. 주방 직원과 소통만 되는 수준이면 충분
